Should I wonder where the winds of society lead me?
It would feel easier. Some people do that.
Other people, that is, because that isn’t me.
So what if people think conforming is “a good thing”?

Maybe I’m different because I’ve become untainted.
I have taken the opportunity
to observe and now I understand the truth
although I know I risk anger, fear and dread.

I’m different which makes me vulnerable
yet I stand strong whatever the prevailing wind.
I take time and I contemplate. If the result is misinterpreted
or if it’s totally different then I’m okay with that.
